"World Post Day" was held in 2014 for the first time and was promoted from the annual International Letter Writing Week to be consistent with the current missions of Thailand Post that offers a variety of services aligned with the social change as well as celebrating World Post Day on October 9 of each year. In this year, World Post Day will be taken place at Central Rama 3 during October 5 - 11, 2015.
The commemorative stamp is designed under concept of "Thailand Post, National economic support, the global business connectivity". The cartoon character of the postman holding a parcel running across the globe reflects a new role of Thailand Post in the e-commerce business providing fresh online innovations that connect every part of Thailand and abroad. This represents its dedication to be "a network for global business connectivity".
