On the 12th of August every year, Thai people celebrate the birthday anniversary for Her Majesty Queen Sirkit of the 9th Reign. Thailand Post issues this commemorative stamp to join the whole nation to celebrate the auspicious occasion of Her Majesty\s 86 birthday anniversary as well as to present its loyalty. The stamp depicts Her Majesty wearing Thai Boromphiman traditional dress in standing posture. The photo was taken at the same period as another photo depicting Her Majesty in sitting posture, which was later painted and became the original artwork of the H. M. the Queen's 6th Cycle Birthday Anniversary Commemorative Stamp.
