Thailand Stamps 2014: Greetings in ASEAN Language (National Children's Day 2014)

The commemorative stamps for this year's National Children's Day come in the continuing series after last year's stamps of ASEAN concept. The stamps feature boy & girl cartoons with the greeting gestures and words from different nations. The greetings are

  • "Selemat Datang" (Brunei and Malaysia)
  • "Suo Sdey" (Cambodia)
  • "Xin Chào" (Vietnam)
  • "Sawasdee" (Thailand)
  • "Selemat Siang" (Indonesia)
  • "Sabaidee" (Laos)
  • "Mabuhay" (Philippines)
  • "Hello" (Singapore)
  • "Mingalar Par" (Myanmar)
The series is aimed to disseminate knowledge and understanding about greeting cultures of the 10 ASEAN members, in order to prepare for the ASEAN Community by 2015
