Ananta Samakhom Throne Hall is a former reception hall within the Dusit Palace. Its 8-year construction began in 1906, King Rama V's reign and was completed in the reign of King Rama IV. After the political reformation in 1932, the Ananta Samakhom Throne Hall was used as the House of Representatives' meeting place before changing to the present Parliament House. However, it is still used for the royal ceremonies and significant State Ceremonies. The stamps present the most outstanding feature is the arctectural style: neo-renaissance an neo-classic, decorated with marble from Italy, with roman domes made of copper which later has been naturally patinous, making the dome roof turn green as seen today.
