Power of Love and Magnificent Friendship

As a part of the celebrations on the auspicious occasion of 84th Birthday Anniversary of Her Majesty the Queen, the symbol of love postage stamp this year depicts the winning painting of "Queen Sirikit"
rose which ius an odorous giant yellow rose with orange petal apex. The rose was named by Andre Hendricx, Director of "Grandes Roseraiea du Val de Loire" who asked permission from Her Majesty Queen Sirikit of Thailand to name the rose after her in August 1971, as the rose represents the charm and elegant of Her Majesty the Queen. The yellow of the rose indicates bright light of glory as a mighty sun providing warm to every life on earth. So it is becomes a symbol of power of pure love. This aroma stamp issue not only represents the good feeling on the occasion of Valentine's Day, but also marks the 84th birthday anniversary of Her Majesty Queen Sirikit.
