Floating Market Damnoen Saduak

Ratchaburi  or "Rat Buri"  is one of the western provinces (changwat) of Thailand. Neighbouring provinces are (from north clockwise) Kanchanaburi, Nakhon Pathom, Samut Sakhon, Samut Songkhram and Phetchaburi. In the west it borders the Tanintharyi Division of Myanmar. Ratchaburi is 80 kilometres west of Bangkok and borders Burma to the west with the Tanaosi Range as a natural border. The Mae Klong River flows through the centre of Ratchaburi town.
Ratchaburi in the west of central Thailand is commonly considered the "province of the canals". Because the fertile area is not only flowed through by numerous rivers such as the Mae Nam Mae Klong, but irrigated by countless small channels that criss-cross the area. One of the most popular attractions in the region is the Floating Markets of Damnoen Saduak, a colorful market square in the middle of the water. Ratchaburi is a popular destination for stressed urbanites and curious Thailand vacationers: a magnificent national park with lush plant and animal life and bizarre stalactite caves in the limestone cliffs of the Tenasserim-mountains attract more visitors every year.

- The Hot Stream of Bo Khloung are revered by locals, because according to legend, they should not only help with rheumatic pain, but also provide relief for various skin diseases. The Bo Khloung Hot Stream is located 5 kilometres beyond Suan Phueng and another 10 kilometres along an access road. The stream is full of mineral water and it is believed that it can be used for skin treatment. The water flows all year round from the Tanaosi Range.
