Miracle 1 - Route 1
There are more than 40,000 Buddhist temples in Thailand and most of them are sanctuaries of serenity and meditation, enclosed in facilities that are architecturally and religiously in sympathy with each other. The fabulous temple Wat Saman Rattanaram is a little different. It is a fascinating mix of religion and showcasing. The grounds are home to a number of large and interesting statues. Here you can see the biggest statue of the Hindu deity of Pra Phikanet (Elephant Man God) in the whole country. There is a three-headed Erawan statue, a stretching multi-coloured Naga, a soaring statue of Kuan Yin, the Goddes of Mercy, and many other statues of characters from Hindu, Thai Chinese, and Buddhist beliefs.
What you notice directly when visiting the temple is a busy outside business around.
